The Merced National Wildlife Refuge again needs volunteers to count Sandhill Cranes. This is a fun way to enjoy the refuge at dawn and help the understaffed refuge count these magnificent birds.
Meet at the viewing platform near the entrance to Merced National Wildlife Refuge (7430 W Sandy Mush Rd, Merced, CA 95341) by 6:00 am to receive your location assignment.
Wear warm clothing and bring binoculars and a hot beverage. To confirm your participation, contact:
